University of Gloucestershire Hustings Debate

May 17th 2017

The University of Gloucestershire hosted a General Election hustings debate in partnership with BBC Radio Gloucestershire. The debate was produced and directed by the University's Media School students and streamed via Facebook live. The panel included the main parliamentary candidates for Cheltenham. The Head of the University's Media School, Anne Dawson chaired the debate and was joined by BBC Radio Gloucestershire presenter David Smith.

Anne Dawson chaired an EU Referendum debate featuring Conservative MP for Stroud, Neil Carmichael, Senior Lecturer in Economics Jim Keane, LGBT+ Officer at the NUS Robbie Young, UKIP Front bench spokesman Steven Woolfe, business consultant Christina Simmonds and International Business Management student Alex Jones.
